WHO IS LPC?

Localization Portal Center for Humanitarian and Development Support (LPC) Started in 2019 by individuals' efforts by some expert with UN, INGOS and some of international staff in supporting the Local NG and CBOs. Recently, we improve our strategy to go further, so We prepare all the vision and mission and put a clear objectives, also develop the polices, strategies, team structure (International and national experts) and improve a new ways of works, which will lead the LNGOs and CBOs to go further to depend on its capacities to improve their work and improve their strategy and enhance their knowledge on the new way of fundraising and Among these strategies is the strategy of business collaboration with institutional humanitarian LNGOS and CBOs. Finally, we decided to established an organized firm (LPC- for Humanitarian and Development support and consultancy, and we get license from the Ministry of Industry and Tradetery in Sana'a, and the from Aden as well. The Country office is in Sana'a, the coordination offices are in Aden, and Taiz, and Marib is planned.

MISSION

To Empower local NGOs in Yemen by enhancing their operational and technical capacities, enabling them to effectively deliver humanitarian assistance and drive sustainable development in their communities.

SERVICES FOR LNGOs & CBOs:

  • Securing Funding

    We provide the service of identifying potential funding sources and developing relationships with donors to ensure sustainable financial support for LNGOs. The LPC's international fundraising and proposal writing consultants have a broad experience of fundraising and crowdfunding. Our team also have connections and communications with donors and can support you in this regard. Also, if your project’s budget request has been finalized, but your team or beneficiaries face downsizing, we can intervene through Faza'a fundraising emergency support. In addition, we can communicate with our partners abroad with whom we have signed agreements for such situations and fundraising campaigns. The service of securing fund includes the below activities:
    - Supporting LNGOs in identifying potential project opportunities.
    - Assisting in the preparation of project documents and communication of ideas to donors and potential funding sources.
    - Partnership Facilitation: Connecting LNGOs with international donors and organizations to enhance collaboration and resource sharing.
    - Advising on new funding opportunities aligning with the LNGO’s mission and strategic plan.
    - Providing fundraising consultations to strengthen the LNGO’s resource mobilization.
    - Offering professional consultations throughout the donor engagement process to secure funding.
    - Advising on sector-specific trends, best practices, and funding opportunities.
    - Networking Opportunities: Creating platforms for LNGOs to connect, share experiences, and collaborate in joint initiatives.

  • Proposal Writing

    We provide expert guidance in drafting compelling project proposals that clearly communicate the needs, objectives, and impact of proposed initiatives. Our international proposal writing consultant have 25 years of experience with the EU, so we can lead the proposal writing for any available opportunities in or outside Yemen through our relations and connections. We can also reach to them using our communication and crowdfunding and fundraising consultants or fundraising partners worldwide.

  • Proposal Review - Modification

    Comprehensive review and constructive feedback on existing proposals to enhance clarity, effectiveness, and alignment with donor requirements and specifications.

  • Organization and department Strategic Planning 2024 - 2028

    We offer support in creating a comprehensive strategic plan that defines the organization's vision, mission, and goals, along with actionable steps for implementation over the next four years. In addition, LPC can lead you out of the comfort zone and develop strategies based on economic recovery, environment and climate change, peace building, stability and social cohesion, among other trends.

  • Fundraising effective Strategy Plan 2024 - 2027

    Based on the organizational and sectorial strategy plan 2024-2027, we will systematically work to develop an effective fundraising strategy and plan, which ensure securing the fund to achieve the organizational and sectorial strategy plan for 2024-2027. We will also provide you with full support with funds or grants available in Yemen or accessible outside of Yemen through our experience and relations.experience and relations.

  • LNGOs AND STAFF CAPACITY BUILDING (Training Programs)

    We offer Tailored training programs designed to enhance the skills and knowledge of LNGO staff in various areas, including project management and donor engagement.

  • SWOT Analysis

    Conducting a thorough SWOT analysis to identify the LNGO’s strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats, which enables informed decision-making. Our  role is to bridge the gap that prevents you from getting funds.

  • Organizational and institutional structure and Policies

    Assisting LNGOs in formulating and implementing organizational policies that enhance governance, compliance, operational efficiency, safeguarding policy, financial policies, HR polices, MEAL Polices, the Safe-programing policy, and other important polices based on the donor’s requirements.

SERVICES FOR FUND, DONORS, UN AND INGOs:

  • Donor's Advisory and consultation services

    Programs /Projects advisory and consultation services to fill the gap that face donors' partnership & stakeholders with their LNOGs during all programs cycle.

  • Capacity building for Donors' local partners

    Based on :
    - Already available capacity need assessments or capacity building assessments from which the LNGOs gap is/are identified for the determination of specific required capacity building plan necessary for implementation of certain donors' projects,
    -  The general LNGOs gap identification in which standard capacity building training is first option.
    - In the case that the aforementioned assessment/s and gap have not been specified and need to be determined by us.
    In such cases … Gap identification and the start of agreed capacity building plan implementation to achieved agreed goals for donors, their partners and stakeholders – totally this package is provided.
    Making sure that we don’t affect the selection nor the preference for all stakeholders, making the donors available transparently for concern LNGOs – for the fair, independent and neutral selection processes – which is a donor decision based on donors' regulation and requirements.
    - In case a donor wish to involve us by a clear MoU to interfere in selection processes of LNGOs or categorization of LNGOs according to project/s goals predetermined required capacities, and a clear categorization criteria  for LNGOs selection , then this Advisory, consultation and capacity building services is provided …

  • Donors' Partnership improvement

    Make Donors funding opportunities and partnership Accessible for LNGOs, by providing consultation/advisory services for donors to improve their partnership with their stakeholders

  • LNGOs catagorization

     Categorize functional area of work- geographical area of work – capacity of LNGOs   based on agreed criteria for categorization, donor requirements, type of assessment and goals of assessment

STRATEGY

The Localization Portal Center for Consultations (LPC) is founded against this backdrop to help bridging the gap and make the LNGOs go out of the comfort zone by provide specific services on cost-recovery basis for enhanced technical backstopping and managerial capacities of LNGs to ensure better preparedness to manage risks and improve business continuity.

The consulting form will also help boost LNGOs in project development and project management and implementation including donor outreach and grow funding and strategic communications. The consulting firm draws on its well-established network and pool of well-versed and longstanding international and national technical experts and consultants on humanitarian assistance and development with seasoned managerial experience working with UN agenesis, International NGOs, and partners operating in Yemen.
