Localization Portal Center for Humanitarian and Development Support (LPC) Started in 2019 by individuals' efforts by some expert with UN, INGOS and some of international staff in supporting the Local NG and CBOs. Recently, we improve our strategy to go further, so We prepare all the vision and mission and put a clear objectives, also develop the polices, strategies, team structure (International and national experts) and improve a new ways of works, which will lead the LNGOs and CBOs to go further to depend on its capacities to improve their work and improve their strategy and enhance their knowledge on the new way of fundraising and Among these strategies is the strategy of business collaboration with institutional humanitarian LNGOS and CBOs. Finally, we decided to established an organized firm (LPC- for Humanitarian and Development support and consultancy, and we get license from the Ministry of Industry and Tradetery in Sana'a, and the from Aden as well. The Country office is in Sana'a, the coordination offices are in Aden, and Taiz, and Marib is planned.
To enhance our collaboration and mutual partnership with the some firm which appropriate to LPC's ways of work. We could make some partnership with three Fundraising international firms, and two-crowdunding firms, and one Institutional building firm.
Regarding to our staff we have contracted with the highest experience and qualified consultants, some of them retired from some global donors, also with UN and international. The roles of the consultants is managing the proposals writing, Institutional Building and developing polices, Fundraising, Communication with donors and evaluate the overall LNGOs and CBOs. Additionally, the consultants manage to conduct a training program on program management, proposal writing, Fundraising, strategy plan. While also, LPC dedicated to support and facilitate to donors, UN, and International NGOs to increase their impact and effectiveness.
LPC is specialized on the Emergency, Recovery, and development. And dedicated its mission and vision and objectives to support the humanitarian and development actor to facilitate the programmatically support on Food security and Livelihood, Environment and climate change and adaption, Peace-building, stabilization, and social cohesion, WASH and Shelters, Health and Nutrition programs.
LPC was established to bridge the gaps and encourage LNGOs to step beyond their comfort zones. LPC provides targeted services on a cost-recovery basis to enhance the technical and managerial capacities of LNGOs, ensuring better preparedness for risk management and improved business continuity. LPC aims to boost LNGOs and CBOs in project development, management, and implementation, including donor outreach and strategic communications.
